French coding bootcamp Le Wagon enters India with first campus in Bengaluru

Le Wagon, a French coding bootcamp, debuted in India with the launch of its first campus in Bangalore. With over 30,000 alumni across 40 cities globally, Le Wagon operates bootcamps to equip career changers, entrepreneurs, graduates and aspiring tech professionals with practical tech skills.

Le Wagon's first cohort in India will begin on July 7 in Bangalore with a nine-week, full-time, in-person software development and AI bootcamp. The programme targets beginners and focuses on coding, project development, and AI-driven application building.

"India represents a critical growth market for us due to its rich talent pool and vibrant tech ecosystem," said Boris Paillard, executive chairman and cofounder, said. "Our mission is to empower the Indian talent with the expertise and mindset to build, launch, and scale innovative technology products that make a global impact."

Susanna Jacob, India Partner, Le Wagon said, "Now is the right time, with the AI revolution building up, to enter India. We are especially targetting those who don't have a formal education in engineering. A lot of companies are now starting to hire AI-specific roles."
